I absolutely adored the cozy and charming decor of the guest house. The beautiful furniture and cottage-like atmosphere made me feel right at home. The common areas were spacious and easy to navigate, perfect for senior people like myself.
It would have been even more perfect if there were grab bars in the bathroom for added safety.

The room is very large and comfortable, very clean and well decorated. The bathroom as well. The check-in and out process was smooth and the staff are friendly. Our room had a balcony with a table and chairs, which was very nice. The breakfast was basic but the small dinning room was very cute with a pool view. We loved our stay there and we highly recommend it!

Clean room, good service
Too compact overall - too many rooms on a small property

Very helpful owner, nice and comfortable room, good position (comfortable for the beach), private parking lot with remote.
No a/c, that means very warm at night, mandatory to sleep with open windows, all rooms face the common parking lot and the way to the breakfast room, that means short uncomfortable sleep. Not really generous regarding towels (one each for shower+1 small to share) and bath products (one shower and one shampoo to share).

I had the most pleasant stay at Algoa Guest House Summerstrand. The owners were incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure my family had a great experience. Despite our early departure, Roger made sure we were provided with a delicious breakfast. The location was superb, with easy access to the beachfront, boardwalk, and airport. The rooms had a cozy, home-like feel, making us feel right at home. And to top it off, the bar fridge stocked with snacks was a delightful surprise.

Very nice chalet type bed and breakfast. The chalets themselves were to a high standard.
A minor point is that having your own transport is recommended as you are some distance away from the boardwalk.
